Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy explains how Shortcuts Browser handles information stored on your device and information processed by advertising services. The developer does not operate a server that receives your shortcuts or personal browsing history.

Information Stored on Your Device

The following information is stored locally to provide the app's features:

• Up to 100 browsing-history entries, including each website URL, a site title derived from its domain, and the date and time it was opened
• The most recent URL received from a shortcut, which the app uses to coordinate browser presentation

Shortcuts are created and stored by Apple's Shortcuts app. Shortcuts Browser does not copy those shortcuts to a server operated by the developer.

Advertising and Tracking

Shortcuts Browser uses the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK to display advertising and the Google User Messaging Platform SDK (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent where required. Google and its advertising partners may process device or advertising identifiers, IP and network information, approximate location derived from network information, ad requests, impressions, clicks, interactions, and diagnostic or performance information.

This information may be used to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and abuse, and, where the user has permitted it, provide personalized advertising or tracking across apps and websites. The app uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission before accessing data for tracking when that permission is applicable.

The app does not intentionally include your shortcut URLs or browsing history in its advertising requests.

Refusing tracking permission does not prevent you from using the app's core shortcut and browsing features.

Third-Party Services

The app uses Apple system services, including iOS, Safari, and Shortcuts, as well as Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform. These providers process information under their own policies:

• Apple Privacy Policy

• How Google uses information from partner apps

Websites are displayed in an in-app Safari view. Shortcuts Browser records the opened URL in local history but does not inspect the page content. Websites opened through Safari have their own privacy practices, and Safari may use website data such as cookies according to your Safari settings.

Retention, Deletion, and Your Choices

• Browsing history is retained on your device until you delete individual entries, clear all history in the app, or delete the app. The app keeps at most 100 entries.
• The most recent shortcut URL remains on your device until another URL replaces it or you delete the app.
• You can add, edit, or remove shortcuts in Apple's Shortcuts app.
• When required, the app provides a Privacy Choices control that opens the Google UMP privacy-options form.
• Deleting the app removes its locally stored data from your device.
• You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• Advertising providers retain and delete information according to their own policies and privacy controls linked above.

The developer does not retain a server-side copy of your shortcuts or browsing history.

Age Rating

The current App Store age rating is 16+. Ratings may vary by country or region and may change when platform rating systems are updated.
