Privacy Policy

Data Collection

Neither OtoLume nor its developer collects personal information, usage data, location, advertising identifiers, or other user data. The app has no account registration, advertising, analytics SDKs, or communication with an external server.

Microphone and Recordings

OtoLume accesses the microphone with your permission to provide its recording features. Recordings are stored only on your device and are not transmitted unless you choose to share them.

When you use the sharing feature, the destination app or service handles the shared data under its own privacy policy.

Bluetooth

OtoLume uses audio-route information provided by iOS on your device to select a connected Bluetooth headset microphone. The developer does not collect or store this information.

Data Deletion

You can delete individual recordings with the in-app delete feature. Deleting the app from your device also removes the recordings and settings that remain in the app.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy when app features or legal requirements change. Material changes will be announced on this page or through an app update.
